The Darden College encourages the development of employee job skills. We completely support our administrative professionals in their pursuit to advancing individual strengths and collective contributions. Our staff are essential to the success, transformation, and sustainability of the college. To fulfill our stance, the SPDF has been created as an effort to encourage workplace excellence through continuous learning, training, and development. The fund is designed to provide classified staff with funding for professional development directly related to their job responsibilities with the intention of enhancing job performance.

To apply, please submit the fund application to your Department Chair/Director of your unit. Once reviewed and approved, the approval and signed documents will be forwarded to Dr. Lamar Reams. You will receive an email with the approval/denial/request for additional information.
