The ODU School of Cybersecurity supports ODU's mission to serve its students and enrich the Commonwealth of Virginia, the nation, and the world through rigorous academic programs, strategic partnerships, and active civic engagement. Our mission is to promote cybersecurity research and education in an interdisciplinary setting. The School leads a cross-disciplinary effort bringing together faculty, staff, degree programs, certificates, and research initiatives from units across the campus.

The National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) program managed by the National Security Agency (NSA) has designated Old Dominion University (ODU) as Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense, Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations and Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Research.

ODU has joined an extremely exclusive group of elite universities by becoming the 11th university to receive all three CAE designations since the NCAE-C program’s establishment in 1999. Learn More►
