Special Collections and University Archives preserves and makes collections and records of historical importance to the university, region, state and nation accessible. It houses the University Archives, manuscripts, books and printed material relating to Virginia and Tidewater History.
Hofheimer Art Library
The Elise N. Hofheimer Art Library is a circulating, open-stack branch of the Old Dominion University Libraries. The Art Library contains over 10,000 volumes on architecture, sculpture, drawing, painting, print media, photography, arts & crafts, in addition to an art reference section.
Diehn Composers Room
The F. Ludwig Diehn Composers Room provides services and resources related to the musical collections held by the Old Dominion University Libraries. It also contains the Music Special Collections.
