Student Plan of Study for Admits Before Fall 2022

Plan of Study for Admits After Fall 2022

This program is now using a cohort style progression. The below schedules have been created for you, based on your admission into the program (fall or spring), modality (on-campus or online), course progression (full time or part time), and declared concentration (clinical mental health counseling or school counseling). Students must follow this course progression when scheduling classes.

Please note: Full-time graduate students must take 3 courses or 9 credit hours per Fall and Spring semester, and in the Summer can take 2 courses or 6 credit hours and still be considered full-time.

Directions

These plan of studies (cohort course rotations) should align with the course sequence for your modality (on-campus or online), your concentration (school counseling or clinical mental health counseling), course progression (part-time or full time), and first semester (fall or spring).

Your plan should be reviewed and turned in during your program orientation. Next, you should meet with your advisor in the first six weeks of your first semester to discuss your plan.

In the event that you need to change your plan due to unforeseen circumstances, contact your advisor. Your advisor will work with you to complete a revised plan of study. This revised plan of study and the accompanying forms will be turned into Dr. Lauren Robins, the cohort coordinator, for review and approval.
