Career Treks
Consider bringing your students to an employer to gain a better understanding of various professions and job culture. An ideal visit includes a tour of the work site/facility, a briefing about the company, and a discussion panel of employees. Many employers are happy to give back and promote their brand to prospective employees. The Center for Career and Leadership Development can assist with connecting with an employer host, establishing a schedule for the Trek, and transportation arrangements and costs.
