Quinncia for Faculty & Staff

At Old Dominion University, we are committed to preparing Monarchs for career success. Quinncia is one of the tools available through Career & Leadership to help students strengthen the skills they need to compete confidently for jobs, internships, and graduate programs.

Securing an opportunity takes more than submitting an application. Students must clearly communicate their strengths, articulate their experiences, and present themselves professionally. Quinncia supports this development through AI-powered feedback and guided practice.

Faculty who are interested in using Quinncia in class may email Jenna Rowlands at jmrowlan@odu.edu for more information.

How Quinncia Supports Monarchs

Students can upload their resume to Quinncia as often as needed to receive immediate, personalized feedback. The system evaluates both content and formatting, offering clear suggestions to improve organization, clarity, and impact. Through this process, students learn resume best practices and gain the confidence to submit strong, polished application materials.

Quinncia provides unlimited AI mock interviews designed around a student’s major, career interests, and resume experience. Students practice responding to interview questions in a realistic setting while receiving feedback on response quality, pacing, eye contact, and overall delivery. This structured practice helps Monarchs refine their communication skills and feel better prepared for real interviews.

A strong professional presence extends beyond the resume. Quinncia allows students to submit their LinkedIn profile for feedback up to five times. The platform reviews key sections such as headline, summary, experience, and skills and provides actionable recommendations. Students learn how to align their profile with industry standards and present a compelling personal brand to employers.

Career Development Resources

Quinncia also includes on-demand resources to support continued growth. Students have access to instructional videos, downloadable guides, mock interview tools, and an extensive help library to reinforce learning and build career readiness skills independently.
