How has being a Physics graduate from ODU helped shape your professional success?
After 4 years of post-doctoral research, I found a different way to use my technical expertise (initially as a technical adviser and later as a patent attorney) by representing inventors in the process of obtaining patents.
What advice would you give to current Monarchs in Science?
I definitely would recommend other people interested in obtaining a PhD in Physics to come to ODU. In particular I would recommend women to consider studying here where they are treated with respect and understanding, not belittled but encouraged.
