Create your Honors experience
An Honors education is more than a checklist of courses and activities. Our goal is to help you prepare yourself for new experiences and for life after graduation.
Components for developing your curriculum
Join in lively discussions; learn how research is conducted and how to make a difference.
Apply what you've learned to improving your community.
Find answers to questions that matter.
This might include a colloquium, thesis or departmental capstone course.
Honors students must attend one campus event per semester.
Document and reflect on your Honors experience at ODU.
Advising & Support
As an Honors student, you'll work with dedicated advisors and the Dean to co-design your curriculum. We'll explore your interests and areas of accomplishment and focus on opportunities for growth.
