Program Faculty

This Ph.D. in Community College Leadership program's curriculum was developed with the input of current community college leaders. Classes are "team taught" with a faculty member and at least one nationally-recognized community college leader, as well as state and institutional guest speakers from across the U.S.

David Ayers

Associate Professor

Research interests include: leadership discourses, policy arguments, cultural political economy, management knowledge, emotional labor and regulation of affect.

Felecia Commodore

Assistant Professor

Research interests include: HBCUs, leadership, black colleges, black women, governance, administrative practices, MSIs, organizational behavior, and decision-making.

Dennis Gregory

Associate Professor

Research interests include: higher education law, international education, comparative education, student affairs, student conduct, and sexual violence.
