An MBA Experience that Meets Your Needs

Whether you are full-time or part-time, an international student or non-degree seeking, there are many ways to complete the program of study.

The MBA program is designed to achieve two key objectives: relevance and flexibility. It provides students with flexibility in both time to completion and delivery mode. Students may choose a completion schedule as little as 4 semesters (full-time) or several years and may elect to complete the program online, on-campus, or a blend of both. In the event of a job transfer, or other major life event, students are able to seamlessly switch program delivery mode and continue with their degree completion.

Students have the opportunity to specialize by selecting a concentration or adding a graduate certificate. Concentrations consist of 9 elective credit hours.

Concentrations include the following areas:

  • Business Analytics
  • Economic Analytics
  • Maritime & Ports Management
  • Project Management
  • Public Procurement & Contract Management
  • Supply Chain Management

Alternatively, students can elect to fulfil their elective requirement by pursuing one of over 50 graduate certificates to specialize their MBA to fit their unique career goals while developing them into well-rounded professional candidates with a highly sought-after skill set by taking on just an additional course or few. Graduate certificates are standalone credentials that typically require a minimum of 9 to a maximum of 24 credits depending upon the certificate.

Choose Your Delivery Option and Pace

No matter which delivery option you choose, it's the same ODU MBA

We offer multiple delivery options, including full-time, fully asynchronous online, and hybrid. Our hybrid option operates as 60% online work outside of the classroom and 40% inside the classroom, either on campus or via zoom meetings. Courses do provide recordings of lectures for those unable to attend set class times.

Complete the degree in as few as 4 semesters as a full-time student or 6 as a part-time student.

If your scheduling needs change, you can seamlessly switch program delivery modes and continue on your path to completing your MBA.
