Ready to Contract?


What is a Contract?

A contract is needed to go on to your MSIII and MSIV year as well as attending the Cadet Summer Training at Fort Knox. A contract is a commitment to the US Army and is the next step to commission into the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant.


How to Get a Contract

In order to receive a contract you must either be a National Scholarship winner or for the non-scholarship to have checked off the following:

  • Passed PT Test
  • Maintain a GPA higher than a 2.5
  • Have at least 30 Credits completed
  • Be enrolled in Army ROTC
  • Be in good physical health
  • Maintain a high attendance to all ROTC events
  • Volunteer on a regular basis for ROTC based events

Once you have been offered a contract, then the long process begins to contract.


Paperwork Needed for Contracting

For Cadets beginning the process of contracting be sure to TYPE your information and print the following documents prior to your meeting with the HRAs. Also be sure to sign up for an appointment to see the HRAs.
