Overall Qualifications:

  • Tutoring experience required, can be formal or informal
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills required
  • Customer service experience a must
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor
  • Knowledgeable of ODU
  • Ability to clearly communicate content information to students
  • Minimum 2.8 GPA; 3.0 GPA or higher perferred
  • Current ODU undergraduate student

Math Tutoring:

  • Must have completed at least one semester of math at ODU at MATH 162M level or higher with a grade of B or higher

Chemistry Tutoring:

  • Must have completed at least one semester of chemistry at ODU at CHEM 123N/124N level or higher with a grade of B or higher; completion of CHEM 211/212 with grade of B or higher preferred
