ODU students receive automatic membership to the Student Recreation Center during the current semester in which they are paying the activity fee.
If you're currently enrolled as an ODU student, your access to the Student Recreation Center & University Fitness Center is included in the ODU student activity fee. There are no additional membership fees and no actions needed if you are paying this as part of tuition! Access for new, incoming students begins August 16 for the fall semester, January 1 for the spring semester, and May 11 for the summer.
Summer Access
Students have summer access if they are enrolled in ODU summer courses, or if they were enrolled in the most recent spring semester and are already registered for the upcoming fall semester. Otherwise, a Student Plus 1 membership must be purchased to have access over the summer.

ODU Student Plus 1 Memberships
$80 / Semester
- Student members may add an additional person to their membership for a nominal fee.
- Student Plus 1 memberships are exclusive to long term guests of currently enrolled ODU students.
- Plus 1 member applicants must be 18 years or older and must present a government-issued ID card to be eligible.
- Plus 1 memberships are available by semester only (there are no monthly or annual options).
