Pursuant to University Policy 1001, interim policies may be adopted to meet legal or operational requirements as needs arise.  Interim policies are effective for one year during which time they will be reviewed through the normal policy approval process.  

We are currently receiving comments on the interim policies below. Please send comments (including policy number) to policies@odu.edu. Any comments received will be shared with the members of the Policy Review Committee and the designated Responsible Officer of the policy.

We will receive comments on the following two revised policies through February 19, 2026. 

·         1010- Absence of the President (Interim Policy)

·         1500- Delegation of Authority for Contract Approval (Interim Policy)

We will receive comments on the following NEW policy through March 9, 2026.

·         5360- Policy on Allegations of Research Misconduct (Interim Policy)
