Dr. Slater Discusses Global Migration on Public Radio

Lee Slater, Director of the World Cultural Studies program at ODU, was an invited guest on WHRO's "HearSay with Cathy Lewis" on October 30, 2019. Dr. Slater discussed global migration in the wake of the recent violence in Northern Syria, and the dynamics of refugee resettlement in Hampton Roads. (More)

ODU Japan Day

The Department of World Languages and Cultures at Old Dominion University presented Japan Day March 3. Guests had the opportunity to watch taiko, kendama and ikebana demonstrations as well as sample traditional food. (More)
