Our Education Division trains the next generation of scientists and healthcare professionals with hands-on training, mentorship, an interdisciplinary curriculum and research opportunities. Faculty use innovative classroom techniques and creative methods to help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The new department consists of four research divisions, each focusing on key areas where Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University established world-class expertise.

The Leroy T. Canoles Jr. Cancer Research Center is dedicated to translational research that leads to improved patient care.
Collaborating across scientific disciplines to understand the role of inflammation and the neuro-immune interface in disease.
