Timeline

Old Dominion University is undergoing a multi-year improvement cycle through the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) Faculty Satisfaction process. This timeline reflects the steps being taken to complete the survey and maximize the impact of the resulting data.

2023

FEB Survey Conducted COACHE Survey Administered
MARCH - JULY  Harvard’s Analysis  The COACHE Team at Harvard cleans the data, analyzes the results, prepares benchmark data, and creates the report.”
AUGUST - OCTOBER Results Internal analysis and visualization of the data for the production of results.
OCTOBER-DECEMBER Presentation of Results

Findings and dashboard presented to institutional and college leadership. Major findings were made available to the campus community. Dashboard is forthcoming.

JULY Working Group Identified The Provost's Office identified a working group comprised of faculty and staff to begin planning distribution of the COACHE Survey
AUG-OCT Team Workshops Working Group completes strategy workshops
OCT 14 IRB Approval Team shares the Human Subjects Approval Letter with the IRB and obtains approval
NOV 4 Prepare Email Complete e-mail whitelisting & spam testing
NOV 16 Faculty Forum What is COACHE? What was accomplished? Where are we going?
NOV 17 Submit Population Team submits survey population file for review
