Summary of Implementation Progress: July 2023 - March 2024
The journey towards this transformative milestone has been meticulously planned and executed, guided by a comprehensive implementation process in collaboration with Cloud for Good, our esteemed implementation partner. Here's a brief overview of the progress made:
- Objective: Transition ODUGlobal from TargetX to Salesforce Education Cloud, aligning with strategic goals of expanding ODU Global and increasing enrollment.
- Delivery Approach: Adopted an iterative implementation methodology comprising three distinct phases: Discovery, Build, and Transition, ensuring timely implementation, customization, and comprehensive staff training.
- Project Management: Cloud for Good diligently managed project progress, facilitating communication, and coordination to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Discovery Scope: Extensive functional and technical discovery sessions were conducted to confirm program scope, business and technical capabilities, and stakeholder requirements.
- Build Scope: Following discovery, Cloud for Good and ODUGlobal aligned on the scope for the build phase, prioritizing user stories, and defining testing strategies.
- User Adoption and Training: A robust user adoption and training plan were developed, focusing on empowering users with the knowledge and skills required to leverage Education Cloud effectively.
- Deployment and Post Go-Live Support: Cloud for Good provided comprehensive support post go-live, ensuring a smooth transition and addressing any immediate concerns or issues.
