2025 Staff Dream Fund Applications Open Now!
The Staff Dream Fund helps eligible ODU employees pursue personal aspirations through monetary awards or paid time off! Whether you dream of pursuing a passion, traveling abroad, or reconnecting with family, now is your opportunity to bring your dream to life.
Who Can Apply?
· Non-Probationary Full-time Classified Staff and A/P Faculty
· Five or more consecutive years of ODU or EVMS service
· Satisfactory or higher performance evaluations
· No active disciplinary actions
Application Requirements:
· Proposal Application (describe your dream + budget)
Deadline: Friday, June 6, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Selection Process:
The Interim Employee Relations Manager chairs a review committee which includes representatives from across the campus community as well as the recipient(s) from the previous year. Then, final selection is made by a Selection Committee composed of the VP for University Advancement; the VP for Talent Management and Culture; and the Interim Employee Relations Manager.
The recipient(s) will be selected based upon merits of their proposal, past service, and their promise of future service to ODU. The award(s) will be announced in early July and funding will be made available in late July.
