We would like to invite your K – 12th grade aged young budding scientists to Old Dominion University’s College of Sciences 2nd annual “Earth Day Celebration” to be held Saturday, April 12, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.!
You are invited to come and celebrate our amazing planet! The 2025 Earth Day theme is: “Our Power, Our Planet!"
The event will take place at our Chemistry Building located at 4101 Elkhorn Avenue, Norfolk, VA.
There will be several science demonstrations aimed at engaging elementary, middle school, and high school students of all ages, interactive planetarium shows, a tour of research labs, hands-on STEM activities and more!
We are also partnering with various community partners for this event. Pre-registration is required to attend the FREE event. Participants can use the QR code on the attached flyer and registration is open until April 10. Anyone is welcome to attend, all participants must have an adult present with them.
