Do you have ideas about how to create a better library experience for ODU students? Do you love ODU Libraries and want to help get the word out? Apply to join the Libraries’ Student Advisory Council for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The Libraries Student Advisory Council is dedicated to using students’ perspectives to improve the student experience of ODU Libraries. Members provide feedback on new and existing services and spaces and work on projects to help the Libraries better meet the needs of ODU students. In addition to providing input and feedback about the library, this year the committee will be working on two projects:

·         Planning and executing an event to promote student life in the library; and

·         Leading the planning process for the renovation of a library study room. 

Councilmembers should expect to dedicate approximately 3-4 hours per month to the council. Council meetings are planned for Activity Hour (12:30-1:20pm) on October 10th and November 7th, and one additional working meeting per month is expected.
