ODU Digital Commons, our institutional repository, has surpassed two million downloads.
Much of our faculty and student scholarship and creative works contribute to the growing number of open access materials that benefit researchers and students worldwide. Users from over 200 countries have discovered and made use of nearly 14,000 scholarly, creative, and institutional items available.
But it is not only good for the users. Our researchers benefit by getting higher citation rates, complying with funding mandates, hosting peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, and increasing their research impact. An author dashboard helps keep track of how many times and from where the works are being viewed.
Student works include electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs), research posters, and articles in OUR Journal (ODU Undergraduate Research Journal).
