Overview
The Provost’s Council, chaired by the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, serves as a strategic advisory body to advance the University’s academic mission. Membership includes the Chief of Staff and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs; Vice Provosts for Academic Affairs, Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Strategic Initiatives; academic Deans; the Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Excellence and Engagement; Director for Faculty Recruitment and Well-being; Provost’s Fellows; and the Chair of the Faculty Senate. The Council advises the Provost on the development and implementation of academic policies, procedures, priorities, and strategic initiatives across the University.
