Dr. Patrick Tompkins has been named as the President of NHTI - Concord's Community College. Dr. Tompkins holds a Ph.D. in Community College Leadership from ODU and has worked in the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). He has served as a department head at Brightpoint Community College, provost and dean of Communications, Humanities and Social Sciences at Thomas Nelson Community College,and, recently, as vice president for Academic, Student and Workforce Education at Eastern Shore Community College. A long supporter of the CCL program, he beat out over 60 applicants for the NHTI position and impressed the New Hampshire stakeholders with his "ability to lead and to do so by listening and taking in all viewpoints." We are excited to see President Tompkins excel in his new position.
