Dr. Richels has published and presented both nationally and internationally on topics related to preschoolers who stutter as well as preschoolers who are deaf or hard of hearing. Her research interests include the assessment, treatment, and systematic study of language disorders particularly as they relate to childhood stuttering and as well as the implementation of interprofessional education for training speech-language pathologists.
