  • Friday, May 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.  - Ceremony for Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences Eastern Virginia Medical School at Old Dominion University (MD Program Only)
  • Friday, May 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.  - Advanced Degree Ceremony (All colleges and schools to include Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences EVMS School of Health Professions at Old Dominion University)
  • Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. - Undergraduate Degree Ceremony (All Colleges and Schools).  Breakout ceremonies will immediately follow.
    • Breakout Ceremony Locations:
      • S.B. Ballard Stadium - Colleges / Schools TBD
      • Chartway Arena - Colleges / Schools TBD
      • Kaufman Mall - Colleges / Schools TBD

Fall 2026 Commencement Ceremonies

  • 12:30 p.m. Ceremony

The 145th commencement ceremonies will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the Chartway Arena.
