Dr. Pagola at the COSMIC laboratory (Oceanography and Physical Sciences Bldg. II, room 1104E) is looking for an undergraduate student with an interest in learning 3D printing using a Flashforge AD5X printer and TinkerCAD (or similar software) to fabricate reaction jars from different plastics (PLA, ABS, acrylic, nylon) for mechanochemical reactions in ball mills. There are previous results obtained by a graduate student, which together with new results (this work), will be used for journal publication. For additional details, email spagola@odu.edu.
