Starting this fall, MATLAB software on ODU-managed computers will require all users to sign in with a MathWorks account. In order to use MATLAB at ODU going forward, you’ll need to do the following:

  1. Create a free MathWorks account at www.mathworks.com/mwaccount/account/create using your ODU email address. (Learn more about account creation here.)

  2. Sign in to MATLAB at ODU using this MathWorks account.

Faculty, staff and students who have downloaded MATLAB for home use should already a MathWorks account. Use this same account to sign in to MATLAB on ODU computers.
