The E.V. Williams Center for Real Estate in the Strome College of Business is pleased to announce a call for papers for its third annual research symposium. The event will be held on October 2nd & 3rd 2025. This year's symposium will focus on housing and papers presented at the symposium will be eligible to be featured in a special issue of the Journal of Housing Research, subject to the normal reviewing process for the journal.
Submissions are welcome from any area of research of relevance to housing, including; Brokerage, Demographics, Household Finance, Housing Affordability, Market Dynamics, Mortgage Markets, Multifamily & Rental Markets, Proptech & Technological Innovations, Public Policy & Regulatory Environments, Social Housing, Spatial Modeling and Sustainability. The symposium will provide researchers with an opportunity to present and discuss new papers and facilitate the exchange of research ideas. All presenters will be asked to discuss another paper.
Authors should submit either extended abstracts or full papers by June 30th 2025. All submissions should be sent to the Center's Director, Simon Stevenson at sasteven@odu.edu. Decisions will be made by the program committee and authors will be notified by July 15th 2025. Full length papers will be required by Monday September 1st.
