Teen Health 360 Program at the Pediatrics Department of the Macon and Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University is excited to announce that our 2025 Open Call is open for submissions.
This year's theme is:
“My Health, My Choice: What does empowering teen sexual health and STI prevention look like?”
We are inviting creative submissions from people of all backgrounds- Students, Faculty, Staff, Health Professionals, and Community residents.
Submissions can include:
· Essays (fictional or personal, max 800 words)
· Poems or song lyrics
· Visual art (photography, illustration, painting)
· Audio or video pieces (max 5 minutes)
· Mixed media works combining storytelling, visuals, and/or sound
Submission deadline: May 23, 2025
Prizes: $25–$200 Amazon e-gift cards

We’re also recruiting volunteer judges from diverse backgrounds to review submissions virtually between June 2–13, 2025. Each judge will score about 20 entries using standard criteria. Join us by completing the form below. Your expertise matters!
