AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Essentials course is being offered by the Tidewater Center for Life Support (TCLS), an authorized American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center managed by the Sentara Center for Healthcare Simulation and Immersive Learning (SCHSIL) under the Eastern Virginia Medical School of Health Professions - Mason & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University.
This one-day course is designed to teach instructor candidates how to teach all levels of AHA CPR/AED/First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogen courses, as well as BLS Provider classes to the community. Read the course details for the necessary prerequisites to becoming an instructor candidate.
