Join ODU Libraries + Employees with Disabilities Association for a hands-on training session where ODU employees and students will learn how to create accessible PDFs using W3C accessibility standards. Whether you're designing course materials, office documents, or digital flyers, this session will guide you through the steps to ensure your PDFs are usable by everyone—including individuals using assistive technology. Open to ODU students and employees. 

🧠 What You'll Learn:

  • Why PDF accessibility matters

  • How to format PDFs correctly using Adobe Acrobat Pro

  • Step-by-step tips from the W3C PDF Accessibility Guidelines

💻 If attending in person, please bring your laptop.

🔐!! Important: Access to the Adobe Professional Suite is required for this session. Please submit a software access request via ODU’s Acrobat Pro page prior to the training.
