The M. Foscue Brock Institute invites you to join us at the Stop Syphilis Public Awareness Event on Tuesday, April 29th, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Old Dominion University (ODU) Student Center.

Syphilis rates are rising across all groups of people in and around Hampton Roads.

You may have seen some reports in the new and other local media. The Virginia Department of Health advises anyone who is sexually active to get tested (at least once), and treated where necessary, to eliminate further spread.

Be part of the launch of a vital Public Awareness Campaign by the Eastern Regional Stop Syphilis Taskforce on Tuesday, April 29th, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at ODU in Norfolk.

Hear from leading physicians, experts, and public health leaders in an open discussion about syphilis. Learn the powerful impact of this disease through true stories and testimonials affecting both newborns and adults. Discover how YOU can contribute to the growing movement to eradicate syphilis.

The event is FREE, but we need to prepare well for the people who plan to attend, so we are hoping to capture this in registration.
