Faculty, we want to showcase your research and/or Creative works at the inaugural 2025 Knowledge & Creativity Expo, taking place on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Chartway Arena! This is interprofessional event will highlight research and creative works from across the university (from both, main and medical campuses), and you are invited to participate! Co-sponsored by Academic Affairs, the Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences, the Perry Honors College, and the Office of Undergraduate Research; we are placing a special emphasis on undergraduate student engagement and interactive opportunities to network with colleagues from all areas. We believe your research and creative works will be a perfect addition to this event!
Why participate?
- Showcase your research: Present your projects, discoveries, and innovations for a diverse audience, including students, educators, and professionals.
- Engage future scientists: Design interactive, hands-on activities to ignite curiosity and encourage active learning among students.
- Network with peers: Connect with other research teams and innovative humanities fostering potential collaborations and knowledge exchange.
What we’re looking for: We encourage exhibits that are dynamic and interactive such as live demonstrations, performative works, art exhibits, virtual simulations, interactive opportunities, or 3D-printed representations. The goal is to make present innovative research and creative works, as defined by your discipline, that is accessible and exciting for attendees of all ages and backgrounds.
