COVA CCI Fall 2025 Cybersecurity Undergraduate Research Program is open for student applications
If you want to earn some extra money, consider applying to the Coastal Virginia Center for Cybersecurity Innovation (COVA CCI) Undergraduate Cybersecurity Research Program.
You don't need to be a cybersecurity major to apply, but your topic must relate to cybersecurity. This independent research program allows you to explore a cybersecurity-related topic of your choice with guidance from a mentor during the semester.
Earn a $1000 stipend at the end of the program for your work.
Applications are due August 29, 2025

Each selected student will participate in a Kick-off meeting on September 12, 2025, and will present their final research project during a Showcase event on November 20, 2025
The schedule is outlined below.
August 29, 2025 – Applications Due
September 12, 2025 – Start program and Kick-Off meeting.
November 20, 2025 – Showcase and end program.
