Join us for Geriatric Sit Down Rounds, a unique interprofessional educational experience for any health and human service student, faculty or professional. Anuj Khanna, MD, The Lillian and Gideon Wells Grime Geriatric Medicine Fellow, will discuss a complex patient - a 68 year-old veteran with rapid cognitive decline and rapid loss of independence. Lauren Mazzurco, DO, Medical Director, Palliative & Hospice Care at the VAMC in Hampton and graduate of the Fine Family Academy of Educators at Eastern Virginia Medical School will deliver teaching pearls at the conclusion of the discussion.
