The window to elect or increase your cash value permanent life insurance is now open, with no physical exams or medical questions required. Your spouse/domestic partner, children, and grandchildren may also be eligible. The policy stays with you, regardless of your job or retirement, as long as premiums are paid.
Highlights:
- Maximum coverage for all family members has increased to $50,000.
- Policies of $25,000 or more are eligible for Paid-Up status, meaning no more premiums required after as little as 15 years.
- Full-time employees with at least 3 months of service are now eligible to participate.
- Growth performance has improved – your dividend-based whole life plan can increase your death benefit over time. Dividends have been paid consistently for 170 years by New York Life.
