$500 Graduate and Undergraduate Travel Award
UPDATE TO GUIDELINES as of 2023
Students are eligible to apply for the award as follows:
- One time as an undergraduate student
- One time as a master's level student
- One time as doctorate level student
The SEES Travel Award was established to support graduate and undergraduate students’ travel to conferences (local, national, international) for the purpose of presenting their research, conducting research, exhibiting or performing creative works, competing or attending in order to enhance their research goals. Travel related only to networking, job search, co-curricular activities, internships, courses, study abroad, leadership, presenting someone’s research other than the applicant’s, etc., is not eligible.
The award covers expenses up to $500 for roundtrip travel, hotel, conference fees and hotel parking.
· Applications must be submitted minimally 30 days prior to travel; however, it is advantageous to apply early as funds can deplete quickly.
· Travel must occur prior to student’s graduation date.
INCOMPLETE AND LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE DENIED WITH NO EXCEPTION AND CANNOT BE RESUBMITTED.
