Young Scholars in Economics Speaker Series Fall 2024
Please join us on October 31, 2024, from 1-2 pm EST for an engaging event moderated by Jay Walker, Graduate Director of the MA Program in Economics. MA Program alumnus Aliou Ba will share his experiences navigating the PhD application process and the challenges of the first semester in a doctoral program. Key topics will include selecting the right programs, writing an effective personal statement, securing recommendation letters, and managing timelines. Aliou will also provide insights on coursework, and time management. The event will conclude with a Q&A session, offering participants a chance to ask personalized questions and gain valuable advice.
