Research data management planning is the process of outlining how research data will be collected, stored, analyzed, preserved, and shared throughout the research project and beyond. This workshop, co-sponsored by ODU Libraries and the ODU Graduate School Career Pathways Program, introduces you to the DMPTool and explains how you can use it to create a data management plan for your thesis, dissertation, and other research projects. The DMPTool is an online tool to help researchers generate, manage, store, and share their data management plans. It helps create ready-to-use plans and provides step-by-step instructions on creating the DMP.
