The Center for Educational Innovation and Opportunity (CEIO) at Old Dominion University serves as the central hub for ODU’s lab school network, leading collaboration, innovation, and research across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
What We Do
- Lab School Leadership: Supports and coordinates the ODU lab school network.
- Statewide Partnership: Serves as the lead partner for four K–12 College Partnership Lab Schools and fiscal agent for an additional five lab schools.
- Professional Expertise: Shares best practices and subject matter expertise with lab school leaders and educators statewide.
- Educational Innovation: Fosters a culture of educational innovation across K–12 and higher education.
Through strategic partnerships and forward-focused initiatives, CEIO works to develop and scale innovative educational programs that expand opportunity and strengthen learning outcomes throughout Virginia.
