Welcome to the Old Dominion University (Williamsburg) Internal Medicine Residency Program. We are building a training environment where residents are known, supported, challenged, and prepared to become thoughtful, skilled, and compassionate internists.
Our program is grounded in strong clinical education, patient safety, quality improvement, faculty mentorship, and progressive responsibility. Residents will learn across inpatient medicine, critical care, ambulatory care, subspecialty medicine, night float, and elective experiences that support individual career goals.
As a new program, we have the unique opportunity to establish a culture of collaboration, curiosity, wellness, and excellence from the beginning. We are looking for residents who want to learn actively, serve patients with humility, and help shape the future of medical education in Williamsburg.
