Strength in Support: Child Safety & Survivor Advocacy with CASA
Join the mPOWER Peer Educators for an engaging and informative program in collaboration with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) as we recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Prevention Month. This event will explore how advocacy, community awareness, and informed support can help protect children and uplift survivors of abuse. Participants will learn about CASA’s work with children in the foster care system, ways to recognize and respond to signs of abuse, and how college students can contribute to safer, more supportive communities. Come learn how strength in support can make a lasting difference.
