The Virginia Governor’s Fellows Program is an eight‑week experience working within the Office of the Governor. Fellows are placed in the Governor’s Administration, where they serve as members of various offices and support day‑to‑day operations, research, and policy initiatives. Each fellow will receive a stipend for their 2-month long service to the Commonwealth. The experience offers a comprehensive introduction to public service, state government operations, and policy development.
Eligible students include rising college seniors, graduating seniors, or graduate students at a Virginia college or university with a record of academic excellence, evidence of leadership potential through work, campus involvement, or community service.
Applications are now open and the deadline is Friday, April 10, 2026. Additional information and the application are available at: https://www.governor.virginia.gov/fellows/
