What is VetScan VS2?
The VetScan VS2 is a user-friendly chemistry analyzer that uses rotor technology and an intelligent Quality Control (iQC) system for chemical, electrolyte, acid-base, and immunoassay analysis. This tool can use whole blood, serum, or plasma to conduct 12 different chemistry profiles covering a wide range of analytes. iQC technology completes numerous quality control checks on your sample, reagents, and analyzer with each run, ensuring the performance of the assay.
The VetScan VS2 operates in three simple steps: insert the sample into the rotor, place the rotor into the VetScan VS2, and then read the results. The rotors require only a small sample, as little as 100µL, to conduct tests. The VetScan VS2 gives lab results quickly and easily, with a short run time of just 12 minutes.

Responsibilities and policies
Both the VetScan HM5 and VetScan VS2 are available for unassisted acquisition, although users may request assistance from Flow Core Staff.
The Flow Core is not responsible for the storage and maintenance of data produced by these instruments. Data may be stored on external storage devices, and may be printed off of the instruments.
