Our Mission
S.A.F.E. (Safety & Advocacy For Everyone) initiatives educate the ODU community about sexual and interpersonal violence, provide support for survivors, and empower everyone on campus to recognize and prevent violence before it happens.
Through educational programming, awareness campaigns, trainings, and signature events—including Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Purple Thursday, Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), and Take Back the Night—S.A.F.E.Initiatives fosters a campus culture of prevention, accountability, and support for all Monarchs.
