Our three schools—the School of Cybersecurity, the School of Data Science, and the School of Supply Chain, Logistics and Maritime Operations—prepare students for careers in some of the world's fastest-growing and most impactful industries. One of the greatest strengths of the Interdisciplinary Schools is our collaborative approach. Students learn alongside distinguished faculty and work with partners across Old Dominion University, including the Virginia Beach Data Science Institute, the Institute for Design Thinking and Leadership Development, and many of our nationally recognized research centers. Our collaborations with organizations such as NASA Langley Research Center, Jefferson Lab, the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative, and the Maritime Consortium create valuable opportunities for research, internships, capstone projects, and professional experience.
