The Faculty Senate Committee is the Undergraduate Curriculum and Programs Committee responsible for overseeing all matters related to undergraduate curriculum and program development. This includes reviewing and recommending modifications to undergraduate curriculum and degree requirements for both existing and proposed programs, managing the General Education curriculum and requirements, and supervising articulation agreements and course equivalency.
All new general education course proposals go through Committee A using the General Education Course Proposal Forms listed at the bottom of this page:
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment (IE&A) collaborates with and supports leadership, faculty, and staff with evaluating and assessing activities and making evidence-based improvements. The General Education Assessment Committee works with IE&A to assess SCHEV general education competencies on a five-year cycle. Learn more and review reports.
