Web Registration
Course offerings and class schedules are available for viewing and searching, from the LEO Online home page (select Course Schedules from the menu). Logging in to the secure web site is not required to view classes. To register for classes, you must log in to the secure site.
Students who have not attended classes in 12 months or more should contact the Office of Admissions to reactivate their student record, before attempting to register.
Registration Dates
Registration is open to all students November 2, 2026, via LEO Online Registration (www.leoonline.odu.edu or my.odu.edu) Monday-Saturday 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. - 11 p.m., and at the Registrar's Office Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
N.B.: Students who have not attended classes in 12 months or more should contact the Office of Admissions to reactivate their student record before attempting to register.

Priority Pre-Registration
Priority pre-registration for Spring 2027 begins October 30, 2026, and for Summer 2027 it begins November 30, 2026, for currently registered Fall 2026 degree-seeking students who are:
- Athletes
- Honors students
- Disability Services students
- Active-duty service members
- Veterans
- Reservists
- Virginia National Guard members
Check for Holds
To avoid delays in registering for classes, all students should check for holds in LEO Online or the University Portal (My Status Alerts) and ensure that all holds preventing registration have been cleared. Future holds (holds with an effective date in the future) only display in LEO Online View Holds and are displayed in bold text.
