Mission
The IIE Women's Business Center seeks to "level the playing field" for women entrepreneurs, who still face unique obstacles in the business world, by providing the tools for women to successfully own, operate and grow their small businesses.
We create economic opportunities and job growth in Hampton Roads by investing financially, intellectually and emotionally into women business owners, enabling them to thrive in the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Cost
Thanks to the support of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Old Dominion University Research Foundation and our supporting partners, we're able to provide our services and outreach training opportunities to all participants at low to no cost. Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur or a seasoned business owner, WBC programs provide the insight required to launch and build your dream.
